This instrument has carved back and sides with just a couple of small braces on the front board to improve the tone and to support the bridge.

Designed around the shape of a Gibson A4 style mandolin
Fine flame Maple back and sides
Sitka Spruce front with oval soundhole inlayed with a line of Abalone with contrasting black and white veneers.
Two part laminated Maple neck with Rosewood veneered peghead fitted with Gotoh 4-in-line tuners. Decorated with “David Oddy” brand and “Vine” inlay all in Mother-of-Pearl.
Ebony fingerboard and bridge
Maple bindings with contrasting veneers between all boards and bindings
Setup with Elixir strings and tuned CGDA. Scale length of 15 ⅞” / 403mm
supplied with hard case
