 The front is cranked .. bent .. just behind the bridge which increases the break angle of the strings and hence the pressure on the saddle, this increases the sound energy transferred to the soundboard and hence the volume and to an extent the tone • Mahogany back and sides. • Sitka Spruce front with oval soundhole and line of Abalone with contrasting black and white veneers. • Two part laminated Mahogany neck with Rosewood veneered peghead fitted with Gotoh 4-in-line tuners. Decorated with “David Oddy” brand and “Vine” inlay all in Mother-of-Pearl • Maple bindings with contrasting veneers between all boards and bindings • Setup with Elixir 10-34 strings and tuned GDAE.
